Mission Shaped Intro Course led by Revd. Tim Woolley, the District Director of Mission.
The dates are 18, 25 March, 8, 15, 22, 29 April 7.30pm at Sapcote Methodist Church
A six session course to rediscover mission and re-imagine church.
New world,  new church? Our world and our lives have changed in the last twenty years but has the church changed too? Do we need a changed church for a changing world? Are new forms of church really possible and how can they be developed?
The mission shaped intro course explores the ‘why’ of creating fresh expressions of church rather than the ‘how’. The course takes you on a journey looking at the ever-changing nature of our social communities and explores why the church has to rethink its approach to communities in meaningful ways.
The ninety minute sessions are delivered through presentation, movie clip and stories with group participation.
