Costa (Christmas) Conversations 12th to 15th December 5.15pm-6.15pm
Christmas—do you love it or hate it? What would you change, what would you keep? Is there a way of making Christmas “better”?
Well, we can’t answer those questions for you, nor will we try, but we would love you to join the conversation with others in Costa Coffee before Christmas.
In the summer for four consecutive evenings four leaders from four different congregations encouraged conversations about four Bible passages. There was lots of talk and plenty of laughter.
The Christmas events, again planned through Churches Together will be different but still have the aim of encouraging people to talk together honestly.
We want this to be a special offer for Christmas; two for the price of one. Please come along if you are a church goer, but this is really for those you know outside the church, so if you come, do not walk through the door alone.
Everyone has something to say about Christmas, whether it is the decorations going up in October(!),the warmth of families getting together, the pain of the empty chair around the table or the Bible accounts themselves.
Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th will be identical introductions to help people feel at ease, then Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th will be two different follow-on conversations. Please come and encourage others.
