Moot is the old Anglo Saxon term meaning ‘meeting’. Some might have come across it in the writings of JRR Tolkien. The Ents had an Entmoot, to decide what to do about Saruman. We meet in pubs, curry houses, restaurants and at sports venues to be men together.
